The main Pakwach Village has 11 en-suite rooms, which includes 7 rooms suitable for families. The Guest House also two luxurious cottages each with two rooms. The rooms have showers with hot water, air conditioners. The Guest house has a large restaurant, with another longue at the rooftop.
The Guest House has a lush and serene compound, in a quiet environment, surrounded by beautiful grass thatched huts. With several birds hovering in the compound, Global Village offers guests the authentic African experience, with all modern services in the facility.

The Global Village at Pakwach is ideal for tourists as well as individuals or families on vacation for long stay. The Guest house has 4 units with two guest rooms each. The units have air-conditioned rooms, a longue with a sofa set, fridge, and TV. The Units also have a kitchen and toilet, bathroom with hot water. The Guest house has ample compound, with a picturesque view of river Nile, a stone’s throw away down the valley.
Consultants, Expatriates or business people who are coming to stay for multiple days will find that this a very suitable place that serves as a comfortable home away from home.

All our Guests are served a delicious Breakfast every morning, which is inclusive in the accommodation rate. Guests can have a choice of continental breakfast or traditional breakfast prepared on order. Other meals such as lunch and dinner are served on request. Several cooking options are available to suit the needs of guests, including vegetarian and continental dishes.

TOURIST ACTIVITIES
Murchison Falls National Park offers exhilarating tour experience. A boat trip to the bottom of Murchison falls National park will let you encounter diverse species of wildlife such as buffalos, Hippos, elephants, water-bucks, crocodiles, and a lot of water birds are commonplace. On a game drive, lions, giraffes, oribi, hart beasts, patus monkeys can also be seen.
Murchison falls National park has around 450 bird species, making Uganda the World’s bird watching destination that is captivating even to non-birders. Guests will be enthralled by the beauty of the birdlife at the Lodge and at Murchison Falls National Park. Popular bird species here includes ground hornbill, secretary birds, black bellied busted, open billed storks and weavers.
Nearer to the river, you can see even more incredible bird specious such as shallow tailed bee-eater, red throated bee-eater, woodland king fisher, grey heron, and hornbills. At the edges of the river, you can see ducks, geese, stilts and plovers. The favorite species which is enjoyable to watch here is the shoebill stork within the papyrus swamp area around the delta.

Our drive at Murchison falls incorporates a visit to the top of the water falls, which is rated as the world’s most powerful and spectacular sight. From the top of the rocky pathways above, you can watch River Nile heave through a narrow gap, hitting into the river beds downstream with high force, and subsequently pouring into the adjoining lake Albert.
WATER RIDE
The visit to Murchison falls isn’t complete without taking a water ride. Visitor’s get to see not just the mesmerizing water falls itself, but you watch different species of wild animals and birds.
The powerful water gushing down through the towering gorge is an awesome and spectacular sight. Besides the falls, a water ride to the tranquil Nile delta is a one of the few places for game and birds watching where you can see diversity of multiple species at the same place. Sunset cruises on the Nile is another favorite for or guests.
FISHING
Fishing is another popular activity on the River Nile. The Nile river has a lot of varieties, notably the Nile perch that weigh between 40 – 70 kgs. Some Nile perch caught on the river have been recorded to have weighed more than 200 pounds. Other varieties of fish here include tilapia, electric fish, lung fish, yellow fish (barbel) and cat fish among others.
Visitor are welcome to enjoy fishing contests with other guests on one of Africa’s longest rivers. Whether you have prior experience in catching fish or you are a novice, Global Village Tours can arrange for you a memorable leisure fishing expedition. The lodge is in close proximity to River Nile.
